Do hedge funds hire entry level analysts? If yes, could you please provide any you are aware of?
Hi everyone. This year I will be completing my bachelor and master degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Financial Engineering, respectively. To be honest with you, I think I am more interested in business analyst positions rather than quant ones. I wanna learn more about industries rather than focus on technical parts. Last year, I applied more on investment banking internship positions but wasn't able to get one. Additionally, I wasn't extremely motivated to go after hundreds of IB people and reach out to them to get a reference etc. From what I know, hedge funds are intense too in terms of workload and hours but not at the same level as IB. In general, I am a bit confused regarding what career I should try to follow among HF, IB or consulting. Any ideas or recommendations?
