Does Point72 give everyone the questionairre?
I've applied to P72 ~4 times and I always get dinged after the questionnaire. Not sure if my answers are just bad or if they give it out to everyone who applies and I'm just not qualified enough.
They give it to everyone; I didn’t know you could get dinged after it though - thought everyone got to the interview stage or at least the case study stage.
not sure what you mean by qualified enough, myself and a lot of other people that got offers didn’t have much finance xp prior

Not sure what I'm missing tbh, I have a SA at a 10b+ hedge fund and I go to a semi target. My GPA is on the lower end so I guess that's it.
Yeah I don’t know man, I didn’t have any finance experience and I got the offer last year. Think it’s more about how they can teach and mould you rather than what you already know. But I don’t know. Good luck with recruiting though.
Recruiting seems to be slightly tougher this year for the initial rounds than last year, at least from what I have been able to infer. As I didn't even know anyone who didn't get case last year but this year people are getting rejected off CV.

I never got the questionnaire and got a rejection email a few days after applying. I go to a semi target with multiple relevant internships and a 3.5 GPA. Some of my friends from the same school got the questionnaire so it’s possible that they screen you out after a certain GPA.
Doubt it, I have a 3.4 and got it
Interesting. Regardless they screen for a factor and not everyone gets the questions
