GS/MS/JPM QR --> Tier 1 HF shop pipeline
sophomore who landed a summer internship at one of GS/MS/JPM for their qr analyst role and was wondering how can i make the most of my internship for junior year recruiting at a tier 1 pod shop like citadel, pdt, ts etc. ? what kind of desk should I am for and will people working at these firms be open to chatting/giving advice despite me working on the sell side? lowkey have no idea how to optimize this experience and know I need to lock tf in bc i didn't do that well recruiting for these hfs last cycle. also not part of any finance clubs on campus and nobody in my network does finance so not sure who else to reach out to.
