Healthcare/biotech shops?
I was wondering which are the top hedge funds that specialize in (or at least participate in) biotech. I know venbio and perceptive advisors are definitely among them, but who are some other reputable names in biotech?
And bonus question, how do phd's with biotech background typically get into these shops? Is it usually through sell-side equity research roles? VC? Corp dev at big pharma?
