Hedge Fund Lateral to IB?

I started my career on the buyside, interning at a small SM, then FT to a bigger one that has a bit of name recognition. Its been a couple of months, but I realized recently that I don't actually like looking at stocks for 12 hours a day, and its a very isolating job.

Want to open my career up and was wondering if it was possible to lateral to banking as an analyst to sort of give myself more time / basically get in to PE or CorpDev. Would the BB's even consider my profile or is it MM/LMM time?
