How does one go about investing in a hedge fund? Is it about who you know? Recently came into an inheritance and am looking to put it to work.

Not that difficult. You just need to be plugged into the hot launches and make sure you qualify as a wealthy individual or sophisticated investor based on the local regulatory standards. PM me if you want more information.
Well, Hedge Funds are exotic products for investment. And a diversification tool for most investors. And a handful of hedge funds outperform the markets. I myself form hedge funds for clients. But I would advise against investing in one. The aren't as good as they used to be.
