How long does the Point72 process take?
Recently had my biz dev call post 45min modeling test and it went well. Any idea how long the process is after you get connected to the team? Trying to gauge as i’m further into the process with another fund and might need to expedite
Based on the most helpful WSO content, the timeline for the Point72 interview process can vary significantly. From the initial call to receiving an offer, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to two months. The process is known to be drawn out, often involving multiple interviews (8-10 across a few months in some cases) and various stages, including behavioral interviews, technical tests, case studies, and superdays.
Since you've already completed the business development call and modeling test, the next steps might involve interviews with PMs, case studies, and potentially meeting the team. If you're further along with another fund, it might be worth reaching out to Point72 HR to communicate your timeline and see if they can expedite the process.

How did the rest of the process look from here? What was the BD call like?
Heard hiring has been slow across funds this year due to the drawdown/underperformance YTD. Would love to hear any additional data points
Bump - would be interested to hear others’ experiences with MM’s so far this year
Pretty far along in a different MM process and have had a similar experience with elongated timelines.
