Is IB or AM better to move into HF?
Title. I have AM for this summer as a soph, but I have no clue what I want to do for summer 2024. So ig im debating whether to apply for IB, AM, or both in order to get to HF later in career?

Equity Research is probably better than both of the above if you're sure you're gunning for a HF.
If ER is not an option, I'd think IB will be a better choice.
If you're not 100% sure about going to a HF yet, IB also has much more flexibility in terms of exits.
