L/S HF Internship
Is doing an unpaid hf internship worth it? Definitely interested in fundamental public market investing and want to pursue it long-term, but I am concerned about the unpaid nature of the job. The firm looks legit.

Check 13-F, if they have AUM, go for it. Maybe you can ask them to pay for your transportation?

Depends role you’re applying for - for IB - HF, for ER - ER.
Interesting, mind explaining why? Assuming this info, I would put HF intern when applying to bigger and more well knowned HF?
People would ask why you aren’t applying to ER at their bank rather than IB. HF is an exit from IB, ER is very very uncommon from IB. So they would assume that if you did HF you worked with people that did IB
