For those who haven't seen, Marcato Capital Management published an presentation laying out their case for a shakeup of Buffalo Wild Wings today. Marcato owns 5.6% of BWLD's shares. They're also asking for four board seats.
While this one wasn't as good as Starboard's Darden piece (truly legendary in my mind), it still hits home on a lot of valid points.
Thoughts? How would you fix BWLD? Presentation link below for reference.
I would make damn sure their food quality stepped up, especially at the darden-level prices they charge-- their wings come out drier than an old grandma and their fries more limp than her even-older husband.
Interesting, but not as awesome as the old Yahoo one just grilling Marissa Mayer.
How would someone outside the investing world get wind of these? Particularly for industrial companies.
