Melqart Asset Management - London

Hello all,

Hope you are surviving the summer! Anyone has any insides on these guys? They seem to do a bunch of cool stuff, which I assume is because they have a very flexible mandate. Last data point I got was £3.7Bn AuM, and c.30 people (15 back-office).

Any insides on returns, comps, founders, culture, etc?

Thank you

know someone who interviewed there. I don't know much but they seem like french-heavy old-school generalists, sharp ratio not great, not my cup of tea. The thing about SM they're really dependent on the PM's style. Being generalist could be great for them, less so for you if you wanna exit later.

It could be. think it depends on your mandate right, but very few people do not have a benchmark or a vol. target.
