Hey all,
Recently someone I worked with who was impressed with me offered to speak about me to a good friend of hers who is high up the ladder at a Fund of Funds with presumably several industry connections.
Now, she requested that I write her a Mission Statement of my goals/plans, which I assume the friend will be reading before we meet.
Have any of you ever had to write something like this? How should I structure it and what should I include and should I focus it more towards the HF industry given who will be seeing it?
Background: I'm a recent graduate working as a portfolio analyst for a regulator, I want to get into AM/HF and there are also certain banking routes I'd be interested in. Also pursuing CFA.
Any input would be great, thanks.
It's a mission statement just like a company would have. Identify what you are here for, who you are trying to reach, how you will do it etc.
