MM Investment Style and Modelling

Any good resources to learn about MM style of investing, and their modelling and idea generation process?

Most of the stuff I've found on this topic has been through reading WSO and twitter posts, but was wondering if anyone had any good resources to learn, would be much appreciated :)

WSO, Fintwit, Google

Hate to say this man but figure it out on your own. Everyone in this industry is naturally extremely, extremely private and purposely hides things from each other. It’s an unfortunate reality but the mindset is “I have zero incentive to share resources / edge / niche concepts with someone else. If I do, someone who knows less than me just got smarter while I stayed the same”

If you don’t like that (obviously not targeting you in particular - saying it more broadly), I suggest a different career path, as this mindset is extremely common. There’s nothing wrong with this mindset it’s totally rational. Why should I tell you something that took me years to learn on the job? Obviously not sharing, that’s something you can learn for yourself…and part of the job is to dig on your own

It’s very competitive. You’re kind of competing with everyone. Why make your competition smarter? Whether they’re older / younger than you, same / different firm, I can’t think of a single rational reason to share information other than being nice…

Agree with what the above poster has said except majority of people I’ve met in the business are very good at saying a lot without saying a lot. Most people are superficially pretty nice imo and you can get a ton of standardized advice but never real edge stuff. Just part of the game.
