new MM analyst / jnr trader here
i work at a tier 2 MM, i was curious what do MM analysts usually tip their PM
i have heard 1% of PNL is appropriate in a normal year at my shop
but is there a difference at the bigger shops? have heard anecdotally that analysts at the big MMs tip their PMs ~3%
I want to make sure i am not stiffing my PM
