Need help with my career change!!

Hey everyone,

So idk if anyone has any advice or not but I am just looking for some advice. I am 25 and after starting and stopping and restarting my college career, and never planning to be in a financial career I have decided that I want to be in the world of investments and am willing to work my butt off to get there. I am currently going into my Jr. year at college but needing to change my major my first question is, should I go for Finance, Econ, or possibly Accounting? Next I currently work for a bank in a mortgage loan originator position where I have only been there for a few months. I needed the job and the opportunity arose so I took the position, with the idea that I could possibly get into their wealth management department. I am curious as to the advice you all can give me if my end goal is to eventually work in the hedge fund industry and possibly start my own fund one day? With my background I know that I am years behind some people and that I am not coming from a target school since I don't live near one and I never had the opportunity to move to one but I have a dream and the work ethic to do whatever I have to. Thanks in advance for anything you guys can share I appreciate all of your inputs.
