New Law School Grad Seeking Advice

Hi,

I graduated law school recently, passed the bar, awaiting admission. I was wondering if anyone has advice for how best to approach the wall street job market. I am also working right now with a law firm on the wall street, potential portable business, very small startup boutique, some limited cold calls, uncompensated right now but with potential for the future. Where would my time seeking employment best be spent, how can I break into the industry? Would you suggest I write any abstracts or white papers to set myself apart?
