Periodic Confusion

Hey guys, I need some advices from you experienced players.

Background: I am currently interning at a boutique investment banks with ops, but a consulting role. I am rising seniors with com sci and finance background and my school has good presence on the street.

I have 2 plans 1. take the return offer if that is the case, work for 2 -3 years and get a MBA, then go for HF. 2. leverage my internship experience with my other stories, go to top financial eng. program and apply for s&t/ER/IB(in Asia) /HF

I am really confused about which path I should consider to work my way up to HF. If you guys have valuable suggestions would much appreciate that. cheers.
