Point72 Experienced Academy Application
Anyone know how often you can apply to the Academy? They say they have 3 intakes a year, I got until the case stage but didn't get through. Was wondering if I could reapply. Thanks

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that Point72 has multiple intakes a year for their Experienced Academy Program. However, the specifics about reapplication after not getting through a stage aren't explicitly mentioned. I'd recommend reaching out directly to Point72's recruitment team or checking their official website for the most accurate information. They should be able to provide guidance on their reapplication policies. Keep your chin up, and remember, every setback is a setup for a comeback!

You can definitely reapply. How long ago did you get rejected?
About 2 weeks ago. I'm assuming I can't sent another application straight away but since they have 3 intakes a year, I should be able to reapply for one of the 2024 intakes (this was the last one for 2023 I'd assume).
Have you considered just applying to work at the firm directly? Ditto for the other multis
I currently work in tech so I would assume the Academy would be the best way in.
I guess so, the exp. the academy is still littered with applications from people with prior finance xp though... Seen quite a few people from banking, sellside ER, and even other HFs do it so there's still fierce competition from other technically sound people.
Good luck
When you say you worked at Tech, you meant you're currently working as software engineer and apply to be an equity analysts?
No, I don't work as an SDE. My role revolves more around PM work.
