Q3 2022 Returns
We're now in the home stretch of what's been one of the worst returning years (so far) in recent memory-- I figured now is a good time to examine returns through Q3. Post legitimate returns for any fund, any strategy YTD below. Include any substantiated market rumors, who's up, who's down, who's shutting doors. No freshman allowed (unless your dad is a PM and you have an inside scoop).
Lol no

Well if you only focus on macro funds (and a bit of the multi strategy) things are looking good:
Haidar +274
Odey +145
AQR a range (+70 to +40 or so)
Bridgewater +34
Citadel +29
DE Shaw +21
I’m sure you can find plenty of bad news out there too
Crazy how Citadel and DE Shaw knock it out the park year after year.
There's a reason why they've lasted decades and are considered some of the best on the street.
Ken Griffin is daddy.
Yeah if you look at the massive funds (DE Shaw, Millenium, Citadel, Bridgewater, even AQR although not as much lately etc) they all have pretty impressive returns for very long histories (most since 1990).
millennium and point72 too, iirc
