I used to be a sell-side analyst at a boutique firm on the Street, and have worked at a couple of small hedge funds prior and after my 6-year sell-side stint and now need help in trying to locate hedge funds who may be looking for a technology analyst.
I would appreciate anyone's help in either naming some recruiting firms, recruiters, or sources of such jobs. To get the thread started, let me start myself by posting some of the places that I have looked (with limited success).

As for a list, your best bet is getting a friend to send you a list of recruiters they've worked with before, since that will make the introduction easier. But for cold calls, you can Google recruiters in your area. There are also several well-known larger firms that tend to focus on placing consulting and banking analysts on the buyside, e.g. SG Partners, Amity Search, CPI, Oxbridge, Dynamics, Search1. That should be enough to get you started!

if you put up 15 quotes you will get access to this place's recruiter list - but as far as I know to asked for a "good" list - I've never seen one
