Retired PM wants to get back in the game

I had had a long and successful career as a hedge fund PM. Retired five years ago. I have continued to trade my PM, and I am current on my specialties. My problem is that my Rolodex is stale. Does anyone have ideas of where I should start?

Sir, My PM limit is up. May you could PM your phone number or email, we'll take it forward from their, if your credentials are correct then you can be a great asset to our fund.

Do you have your track? What strategy? Where are you based?

Contact a prime brokerage, this is exactly what the cap intro / hedge fund consulting type function is for.

If you still don't know who to contact, PM me. I'm in such a team.

"thebrofessor" how is your rolodex stale after 5 years? don't you have LinkedIn? I'd reach out that way. I have a hard time believing 5 years is enough for you to completely lose touch with your entire professional network.

Lol troll'd

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

It’s more likely than you might think. Imagine he spent 5-10 years at that firm and did little to build his network outside the firm during that time. If he left 5 years ago, then he might not have been building new contacts outside his firm for 10-15 years. That’s a long time.

Why do you want to come back? The PMs I know that have retired have mostly left the game altogether and moved onto non-finance related ventures.
