I am expecting to get an offer from one of the hedge fund in manhattan.

What is reasonable raise for base and total comp should I ask for?

I am expecting to make switch by end of July; How does the Hedge Fund approach the current year bonus? At my current place I have a gurantted bonus; Should I expect that as a sign-on bonus for the current year or wait until the end of December? Do the pro-rate bonus?
