SearchOne - Moore vs Garmisa?
Hi guys:
I've read somewhere on this forum that to recruit with Silver Point, one needs to really impress Michael Garmisa of SearchOne. I'm curious on what's the best way to work with SearchOne when recruiting for their top clients (Baupost, Silver Point, etc)? I've interacted with Matt Moore from recruiting, but I have never interacted with Michael Garmisa... should a candidate try to reach out to or connect with both?
Thanks!
Hey Investment Analyst in PE - LBOs, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Michael will do a video call with you after you speak to Matt or one of the other hf people. Even before covid Michael always did these video calls. I have no idea what he’s looking for. He just asked me how my day was going and asked a couple questions about my background - that was it.
