Sending cold call letters and CV to hedge funds

Hi,

With the holidays coming up and with nothing to do currently, I am considering sending a blanket letter and CV to several hedge funds to see if they need an intern over the holiday period.

Unfortunately I don't have any contacts in the HF industry, but have a summer internship at a BB lined up and would like to get some experience.

I know it is a really small chance to get some work from this, but is it worth my effort.

Anyone had any success through stuff like this?

Thanks for any input.

ThedssHolidays are for holidays... Just relax.

Never listen to people when they tell you things like "you're working too hard," or "just relax."

Hallelujiah.

And to answer your question, I think its a slim chance, with bigger funds, but I think its worth a shot even if you have to go to a smaller fund and work for free.

Be nice to those in distress, you could just as easily be in their shoes
