skillset for an aspiring QT?

i'm going to be at a target university (oxford) studying economics & management starting this fall. i realize that ideally i'd be studying math or stats, but i was pretty locked in on "i'll be an investment banker after uni" and only discovered what being a quant entails a couple months ago. i'll still be doing the typical IB recruiting stuff of course, but i think my real goal is to try and be a quant trader, and i'd like to start working on my skills to help me get there.

i get that math is obviously key, but what exact types should i be working on, and how? maybe probability and calculus? but what specifically? and do i need to be like a coding whiz and learn a bunch of languages and leetcode? or is basic python enough to get by? should i learn finance and basic value trading and technicals on that side of things?

basically, how do i give myself the best shot for a quant internship in ~ 2 years? any starting spots will be super helpful.
