State of the Quantamental Investment Mandate

Hi all,

MS student in Computer Science at a top school with previous IB and buyside internships during my undergrad. I'd say I have pretty solid fundamental finance knowledge and solid quant skills.

I wondered if anyone has any knowledge of the quantamental space such as names of funds running strategies, what kind of data is being used and how this is factored into decision making? Sounds like a very interesting area where I could do (and get) the best of both worlds.

Would be keen to anyone with experience/knowledge.

Strong and growing, but the number of players in the game is extremely small as the resources required are expensive and difficult to aggregate. No one worth 2 cents in the industry will ever give you any insight into data or formulation.
