Hi all,
Could you share your thoughts on the hedge fund industry in Canada? I am interested in applying to hedge funds in Canada (want to relocate for family reasons). A little bit about myself:
- Currently an Economist in an international organization in Washington DC
- PhD Economics (MA/BA also in Economics - with a lot of finance)
- Worked in the organization on a variety of economic topics (international macro, international finance, commodities, fiscal policy, monetary policy, trade) and countries.
I have not worked for the buy/sell side before. Given my brief profile above, what do you advise?
