Tier 2 L/S Internships

Hi through networking, in the process for some Tier 2 LS such as XP, Walleye, etc. All seem to be new-ish programs and very unstructured. Wondering if these would be bad ideas to take vs ER or LMM IB if interested in investing long term.

I'll slightly defend my original position though i think the objection raised is reasonable.

I think that your perceived value will be higher from a place like walleye making it easier to re-recruit if something goes wrong. Also, the right tailed outcomes are way more.

If you are interested in investing roles you will also probably learn more and have a better time doing an investing role rather than some tangentially related banking role.

Can I dm you? I’m looking for hedge funds rn and I have no idea where to start other than the big academy programs (CAP, P72, Catalyst). I’m a non-target school but I have some good stock pitch comp placements
