Can’t be real though right… some of the stuff in this seems made up and saying that Dragoneer and Coatue are getting flows because TG is doing badly just doesn’t really jive to me

This isnt shocking at all lol. I would expect this to be the norm.
I doubt the article is true as the text seems unprofessional (quite a bit of spelling mistakes, writing style is not in the style of a journalist etc). could be a précis
Imagine coming out with this pathetic rebuttal afterwards. if any one of my shorts came out with something like this, i'd add a ton more to my position
not sure about specifics, but it's not like tiger global was a large launch a la grant wonders / mala / divya today. it launched with $25 mil from julian, which inflation adjusted today is $45 mil. different time for the industry, but even for 2000 that doesn't sound like a lot of money. doubt chase had the pick of the litter of creme de la creme candidates. i mean, if some rando pod PM spun out with $45 mil today, how many MF PE analysts would want to take that risk and join? with the failure rate across the industry. not saying scott isn't capable, but you don't need a silver spoon / generational connections to join a $45mm launch.
