Have any of you heard much about "Capital Fund Management" in Paris? They have $7bn AUM and their board consists of a bunch of physics PhDs and engineers. Apparently their strategies come from the field of "econophysics", which seems to me to be reminiscent of the scientific approach utilised by Renaissance Technologies.
