Weiss Asset Management Interviews

I'm a current junior at a T10 school interviewing with Weiss, was wondering if anyone has been through the process and what the interviews are like? Currently have a technical and behavioral schedule for next week (two separate interviews) Thanks!

Hey there! It sounds like you've got an exciting week ahead. While I don't have specific details on the Weiss Asset Management interview process, I can share some general tips based on the most helpful WSO content:

  1. Brush up on your technical skills: This could include financial modeling, Excel, and industry-specific knowledge. The WSO Financial Modeling Resources could be a great place to start.

  2. Prepare for behavioral questions: These often revolve around your resume, experiences, and skills you can bring to the role. Practice answering these questions concisely and confidently.

  3. Mock Interviews: Consider doing a few mock interviews with pros. This can help you get comfortable with the interview format and receive valuable feedback.

  4. Review the WSO Company Database: This can give you insights into the company culture, interview process, and more.

Remember, every interview is a two-way street. It's not just about them finding out if you're a good fit for the role, but also about you finding out if the company and role are a good fit for you. Good luck, and remember to let your personality shine through!

Business rotational internship, focuses on Treasury, Risk, and Trading. I think more on the quantitative side, as I am majoring in mathematics.
