What % of the bonus pool is usually kept by the PM?
Does anyone have any insight on what % of a hedge fund pod's bonus pool is kept by the portfolio manager vs shared with the rest of the team?
I know the PM would get the lion's share, but how much would usually be shared with the other analysts/members of the pod/team?
50-95%+. Closer to 50 in some MM with a bunch of very senior subPMs, closer to matter if just 1-2 very jr analysts
