Age for Series 65 Exam
Hi All:
I was wondering about the age for any FINRA exam, specifically the Series 65. I am interested in becoming an RIA to manage money. Thanks

The minimum age to take the Series 65 is 18. So technically if you pass, you could become a FINRA Series 65 certified at 18 (pretty cool). However, to become an RIA you would have to register with the SEC or state securities authorities. Most typically you need a firm to sponsor you and fill on your Form ADV.
I took the series 65 when I was 18 to boost my resume. I would definitely recommend the book Pass the 65: A Training Guide for the Nasaa Series 65 Exam. It wasn't too hard, but the law portion was tedious and not too fun. Good Luck!
