Buying a BamSEC Individual account or other platform worth it? Recommendations?

Was a second year Analyst in IB that got caught up in the layoffs due to an illness, so I don't have access to databases and platforms anymore.

I am trying to model out public companies for the purposes of investing, but primarily to continuing developing my skills.

I am finding that pulling historical financial data via the Edgar website to be a bit tedious. Side-by-side quarterly data is especially annoying to reconcile given differences in reporting.

I am looking for a platform that can help make pulling that easier. I hear BamSEC is good for that, but the subscription is $70 per month.

If I am looking to get more into following the public markets and companies, is that subscription worth the price? Otherwise, does anyone know of a lower cost subscription that allows me to pull financial statements in bulk more efficiently? Also open to other alternative platforms recommendations for an individual.

Thanks in advance.

quillai.com is $40 a month, cheaper than bamsec. Their spreadsheets automatically link the numbers back to the original filing too, which is nice.
