Game advice is needed

Hey, I am creating a game around financial data- PPI, Housing Starts, Retail sales, Inflation, PMI, Job Openings, Unemployment, E Optimism Index, etc

We are currently brainstorming around lore, the flow, inside jokes, market outlook, etc.

Anyone is willing to provide feedback on the game idea and/or advise?

By the looks of it, it must be a point and click adventure ala Monkey Island. As for plot, the player should be a a young intern whose personality gets molded by the answers we choose from a list. The character's appearance should also be subject to subtle changes - either toward a more "Jim Halpert" or a "Dwight Srhrute" persona. Make playing as Michael Scott a DLC :)

I think it would be funny if all the senior staff were from a fictional apocryphal company in the industry that got absorbed in an epic collapse. They would all make inside jokes about their time back in ‘the good ol days’ a la Lehman, DLJ, First Boston, etc.

Would also be funny if people’s last names were all Asshole like the scene in Spaceballs.
