General Electric?

GE needs no introduction. They're a massive conglomerate with a very strong brand name with high barriers to entry with most industries in which it is involved. This reminds me of a Buffett style investment in many aspects. However GE's management don't really have a solid plan to going back to profitability imho. Additionally there have been some issues with jet engines blades. Dividends have been cut a few months back and with the biggest bull run recently in the NYSE, I'm very wary of investing in GE. Additionally some serious unfunded pension liabilities as well makes me unsure about GE, earnings coming out on the 10/19 will be a moment of truth. Its not in my risk profile.

What does WSO make of GE?
