Investing while working in BB Wealth Management?

Good evening all,

I am a college student and will be working in wealth management next year for the summer at a Bulge Bracket Bank. I was wondering if yall think we would be able to have personal investing accounts? Or if we would be required to use the banks platform for investing like the guys in IBD?
