QCOM - in Play for Activist?
There is NVDA with a P/E of 240+.
Then there is AMD at 470+.
And finally we have QCOM sitting at... sub 15?
Qualcomm stock would skyrocket if they simply announced a renewed focus on AI/better software and let people buy their chips.
Seems like an activist should be all over this already - any rumblings?
It is definitely lagging its peers. I know they are developing chips that can power AI capabilities but seems like the stock does not get the hype. I don’t think it will get an NVDA or AMD type multiple since that company is heavily to exposed to Chinese turmoil and a slowing PC/phone market.
Would be interesting to see how it plays out
