I'm trying to spread comps for a company that I'm analyzing. I seem to be getting different numbers for the ROIC metric compared to other websites like Morningstar/Ycharts though.
I was wondering do these websites usually use the balance sheet numbers from the latest quarter or from the last financial year? I tried doing different permutations and I still don't get the same number.. Any idea if the website states what number they use for total debt so I can check my numbers? Not sure what to follow now because of this discrepancy..
