Should I sell off my portfolio before starting FT?
I'm an incoming IB analyst where I will be unable to trade single name stocks - I start in July. Should I sell off my portfolio now? I'm thinking of doing so considering I will eventually have to sell my portfolio during my onboarding process and I'm not so sure I see any of my equities going up by then. With rates rising, the downside risk seems much higher than any potential upside. I could reallocate to ETFs now, buy some crypto, or just hold cash.
What should I do?
