The situation
In addition to the Trump presidency’s impact on the courts, another impact from his first-term may come through structural limitations imposed on fiscal policy. By changing the way inflation is measured, conservative lawmakers can impose an inability in delivering social programming for coming generations. Though seemingly pedantic, in reality, this is a smart way to dismantle the welfare state.
