Will a hiring spree help the economy as expected?
Amazon has announced a hiring spree that will employ around 100,000 in the next 18 months. Big companies like IBM and Ford plan to follow. Yet, although a hiring spree sounds like a positive action, especially for Trump's agenda of creating more American jobs, it might not help the economy as expected.
Research groups have argued that the company kills more jobs than it creates because it has disrupted the traditional retail industry.What do you think?
