I will never forget the associate that showed up 2 hours late to my interview, gave me the hardest LBO questions he could think of, and got mad at me for not answering one of them correctly. Raise that base pay, William Blair! I’m sure it’ll fix your shitty culture!
Why was the question?
“Walk me through what happens if interest rates rise by 200 bps in year 2 of the LBO” or something ridiculous like that. I was a sophomore non-target student, not sure why he thought I could answer that one
Honestly anybody who takes a William Blair offer with other options at this point - fully deserves it
Raise base pay by $5k to underpay everybody by $30k to 70k on bonuses or more at AN/AS level
