Danke für deinen Input. Bei welcher Adresse hast du bis jetzt gearbeitet? Ich habe mit mehreren in der Branche gesprochen (London BB/EB/MFPE) und mir wurde gesagt, dass das der Way to go ist.

Great resume for someone just starting undergrad! A few suggestions:

  • There is a lot of white space to the right of your job description bullets. I'd recommend expanding the width of the descriptions so they take up the full page (going right to edge on the right hand side below the location / dates)
  • Stay consistent in your date convention, use month and year everywhere and keep it all on one line (change May-Jul 2021 --> May 2021 - Jul 2021, move the dates for the Mazars job onto one line, etc.)
  • Try to quantify the work wherever possible (e.g. for the EY M&A diligence work, maybe include examples of transactions you worked on or the number of transactions / aggregate deal size of the transactions you worked on).
  • Are there any relevant financial clubs / extra curriculars you could add? Any financial analysis you've learned on your own that you could include in the skills (DCM, LBO, Comps, etc.)?

Thank you very much for your input! Definitely didn't notice some points you have mentioned!

I was only around for 3 months at EY, and no deal I was involved closed in that time. (all private companies, no public information). I could only quantify revenue numbers, since I do not know the entire valuation. I do know how to perform DCF/Comps valuation, but I learned it myself with some literature. Where would you put these skills on the CV?

Thank you for pointing out the issue with the dates and the white space, I fixed that
