100% Remote IB from a safer and lower COL location. Is it possible?
Currently an analyst at a Chicago bank and go into the office 5 days a week. I love the job, don’t mind the hours, and enjoy the people I work with. I completely agree with being at the office as an analyst and associate to show face, but at the point of being VP I’ll likely be a young parent and don’t want to raise my kids in a city. Not to mention, the benefits of a lower COL as a parent would be phenomenal. Is it unreasonable to ask a firm to go fully remote and possibly fly to the office once a month?
