2 weeks in NYC- how to make the best out of it

Hey guys,

West coast kid here- just finished my SA gig at a lean boutique in NYC with some solid experience. My firm is not taking any full time analysts this year, so I need to network my ass off here and try to get some interviews for full time (I'm a rising senior).

Of course, I've been networking like crazy but I come from a non-target school so I already went through all of my alumni in the city (which aren't that many..)

Then I started to cold email people, but I feel like that's not enough.

What are some other ways to meet bankers and network while I'm in the city? No one in my group really drinks..

Oh and I'm so sad that I missed WSO happy hour.. that was such a short notice guys..- I've been on WSO everyday ever since, crossing my fingers for another happy hour (wink wink)

Definition of lean = Thin, esp. healthily so. I thought it was a good word to describe the shop that I interned at- It's small, but everyone rolls deep (some of them have BB experience under their belts), and I got deeply involved with the projects/transactions that we worked on.

Haha I'm aggressive and passionate about it, not desperate.
