2 YOE in IB --> Corporate Strategy / Business Development --> Possible Exit Opportunities?

Currently an investment banking analyst and curious what exit opportunities exist if exiting into a corporate strategy / BD role with 2 YOE in IB. Is it possible to exit into early stage investing (GE / VC) after some experience in corporate strategy? Want to get some operational focus. What are some other common career paths / exits afterwards? Thanks!
