Wow, couple interesting things in that list but I guess it's only 4 months of data
Right, deal count plays a factor as well. Ex: Allen & Co closed 4 deals (same as Liontree) and Guggenheim closed 2 all while GS closed 46...
Yeah , would you happen to have a source? It seems like Citi, MS, Allen&Co are killing it.

I don't have the numbers off hand, but that looks like completed M&A. Things would look a bit different if we were talking about announced
Could you post current announced and completed M&A transactions? A quick Google search only provides info on the top 4/5 firms as of April.
those #'s are old. total announced and completed is wayyy above that now.
Currently stands: MS, GS, BAML, Citi. Then I think Barclays is 5th but less sure.
