How is Allen & Co so high when Gordon Dyal is in the 30s? Also Jefferies ahead of Barclays? Nobody taking Gugg over Citi or BofA lol they're middle market if we're being fr
I’m currently at BofA/Citi and would move to Gugg in a heartbeat, I even have a notification on their job postings. Pay is way better and juniors get a ton more M&A reps
would take WF over UBS but those positions you're referencing are not fees. their m&a fees from q1 are quite close despite deal credit being miles apart

How did UBS manage to move up in the rankings
JPM too high imo. The bank is doing well but few folks would take it over MS or PJT for eg. Otherwise the ranking looks good
Agreed
Outside of PJT RSSG, I think most of the JPM groups are better, but they're definitely comparable
PJT RSSG sure – but focusing on traditional banking, what you said is not accurate.
UBS over WF is laughable. Cements the idea that “prestige” is a lagging indicator and shouldn’t be used for anything.
except exits…
true

GUGG over BofA or Citi isn’t crazy. Nor is JEFF over Barclays. All pretty on par with each other

Guggenheim also surprised me. I think Citi is a better place and would 100% choose Citi over Guggenheim.
Short question, is RTH really that bad in the US? In Europe they are basically the ones doing all the MM things...
This is likely a list focused on US. Personally took GUGG over all of the mentioned names fwiw
LAZ/MOE > PJT
M&A yea. RSSG is so strong though
Agreed that's what I was implying
.
DO THEY NOT KNOW THAT WELLS FARGO IS FUCKING PARADISE????
PLZ FIX
This is correct but MS > JPM
UBS ranked #31 on Q2 fees and WF ranked #4. UBS is over WF makes no sense.
PWP too high
prestige =/= fees
Dont see a bank after PWP that the typical person would choose over PWP. Think they’re pretty good at 10

is RBC not a low compared to like a HL/Piper/WB? Thought it was more like JEFF level
.
RBC is definitely better than those
where would u generally rank a place like HL?
Like Blair, Piper Sandler tier - HL is a MM volume sweatshop - apparently their restructuring not even that good
I’m working with Allen & Co right now, those fuckers are NOT better Barclays lmao
Maybe. No doubt that Allen is more prestigious though
I think this list is reflective of 2025, given Q/EVR/CVP's amazing year, whereas PJT in 2026 has been on par with UBS lol
