2027 Recruiting
I’m just finishing out my freshman year at a non-target. I am hoping to break into UMM IB. My gpa is 4.0 and I completed 2 internships (RE, REPE) throughout the year. I also have a decently big WM internship set up for the summer. My question is when should I start networking agressively. I’ve had a few coffee chats but have heard that sometimes bankers get annoyed when you network before recruiting season. Should I be networking and getting as much chats as possible rn? or focus on technicals?
